DroidFresh - Galaxy Note 4 users on AT&T began receiving their Android 5.0 Lollipop update on Tuesday, but the handset’s predecessor isn’t being left behind. Galaxy Note 3 users are also receiving the software over-the-air, and via Samsung’s KIES app for Mac and PC.
While the Note 3′s update doesn’t quite include everything Note 4 users have, it does bring plenty of visual improvements and other TouchWiz tweaks, plus Lollipop features like Smart Lock, lock screen notifications, and the new multitasking view.
The update should also bring noticeable performance and battery life improvements, and weighs in at 1.2GB.
Like all AT&T’s updates, Lollipop will be coming to Note 3 owners in phases, so if you haven’t already had it, don’t worry; you will get it soon. You can search for it manually from within the software updates section inside the Settings app.
If you’re already running Android 5.0 on your Note 3, let us know how it’s working out for you down in the comments section.
